VBASE Strengthens European Partnerships at UEIL 60th Annual Congress

Stresa, Italy — October 17, 2025 VBASE Oil Company recently participated in the 60th Annual Congress of the Union of the European Lubricants Industry (UEIL), held in Stresa, Italy. The event brought together leaders from across Europe to discuss “Sustainability, Resilience, and Digitalisation in the Lubricants Industry.”

Representing VBASE were Chief Technology Officer Dr. Martin Greaves and Chief Operating Officer Stephen Eck, who met with customers, suppliers, and thought leaders from across the European lubricants value chain. The congress provided a valuable platform to highlight how VBASE’s Secondary Polyol Ester® (SPE®) base oils deliver both high performance and environmental sustainability.

Europe continues to set the pace for sustainability standards across the lubricants industry, and VBASE technology is well aligned with those evolving priorities. Following a successful trip that began with customer meetings across Europe in September, the UEIL Congress served as an opportunity to deepen relationships and open new discussions around the use of SPE® base oils in industrial and specialty lubricant applications.
